An original watercolour painting of watercolour painting of The Crowns, Botallack.
These engine houses that are maintained by The National Trust are a part of Cornwall’s rich mining heritage and were used in the Poldark series as Edward’s mine. They are perched on the edge of the cliff at Botallack and since Poldark appeared on our screens have become a popular tourist location.
