Description
Sketch of Towanroath Engine House at Chapel Porth, painted on location during August 2013.
The engine houses at Chapel Porth are very iconic, representing Cornwall’s rich history of tin mining. The one is on the path as you walk up the hill from the beach, and whilst to us it is very beautiful, it must have been a difficult place to work.
This small, original watercolour sketch, is supplied mounted on black card.
