Description
An original, watercolour painting of low tide at St Ives Harbour, with a small piece of seaweed on the tide line, as the tide ripples in.
When the sun shines in St Ives the water becomes translucent and is the most gorgeous colour of turquoise. I have tried to capture that colour in this watercolour using Manganese and Cobalt Blue. St Ives is a favourite spot, whether you are visiting or lucky enough like me to live in Cornwall, although I do tend to avoid when it gets too busy!
