Description
A quick sketch of Lamorna Cove, Cornwall, using pen and ink as an initial sketch and then painted afterwards.
Lamorna Cove is a pretty little cove, in west Penwith, close to Penzance, and has a thriving artists community.
I visited Lamorna Cove on a crisp, cold February day. The sun was out but it was quite cold so I did paint this with my gloves on! I was also perched precariously on the rocks overlooking the harbour, so I could include the damaged harbour wall and cottages.
Original painting is 149 x 99 mm, the mounted size is 180 x 230 mm (9 x 7 inch) to fit a standard frame size, however it could fit a larger frame / mount.
