Isles of Scilly

The Isles of Scilly is a paradise just off the coast of Cornwall. The sea is the most beautiful clear shade of turquoise with deserted beaches that just is calling for to sit and run your fingers through the crystal clear white sand (not to mention to paint).

My favourite island is St Martin’s, but that is partly because I spent a couple of days in luxury at the luxurious hotel that is St Martin’s on the Isle. Sadly I may not repeat that experience again in a hurry as it was a special treat to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary, and the sun shone.
